Hello Hurricane Season! Evacuteer Community-Wide Training

  • Mid-City Library 4140 Canal Street New Orleans, LA, 70119 United States (map)

Thousands of our neighbors may need help evacuating if a major storm comes our way. Evacuteers help us run the City of New Orleans free and public evacuation plan, City-Assisted Evacuation (CAE), to make sure that our residents are safe and out of harm's way!

In this session you will be introduced to the history of Evacuteer.org and why we were formed, how the City-Assisted Evacuation plan works, and the vital role that our volunteers play in ensuring that everyone who uses City-Assisted Evacuation is treated with respect and dignity.

Because the City’s evacuation plan has changed in 2019, we encourage all previously trained Evacuteers to attend this training as well. Location to be announced!

Bring a friend to help us reach our goal of 500 trained volunteers this year!
