NOLA Tree project

The mission of NOLA Tree Project is growing stronger, healthier communities through tree plantings and community service projects!

Over the past 10 years the mission of Nola Tree Project (formerly Hike for KaTREEna) has been to replant the 100,000 trees lost to Hurricane Katrina. With the help of 65,000 volunteers they have planted over 30,000 and have become the Region’s leading tree organization.

NOLA Tree Project's programs include Urban Forestry plantings, Big TREEsy Giveaways, Community & Schoolyard Orchards, Arbor Day events, and many service projects throughout the year.
