During the 2010 hurricane season and just months after the new Mayor Mitchell J. Landrieu took office, evacuteer.org had the opportunity to formally brief him on our role within the City Assisted Evacuation Plan. Afterwards he filmed a short piece for us about the improvements in emergency preparedness since Hurricane Katrina.
