2012 Executive Leadership Committee Application

Yes, folks, it's true. We are looking for leaders and hope it's you. And we know you have a lot of places to spend your free time and we do too. The evacuteer.org executive leadership committee is a group of like-minded professionals who commit themselves to volunteering in community organizing and emergency management centered around our City's most important emergency preparedness plan--the City Assisted Evacuation Plan.
Evacuteer.org is tasked with recruiting, training and managing all the non-profit and faith based organziations as well as individual citizens who will volunteer should we have to evacuate nearly 30,000 citizens who have no alternative transportation in the event of a hurricane.
So, we're glad you've found this page. But, we also really want to you think about this commitment. Because it's a big one. But one, we know you'll love to make.
At minimum, you must be willing to attend a monthly meeting and serve on of our committees.
If selected, you'll sit on one of four committees:
1. Operations (The Real McCoys)
2. Special Projects (Have you seen the parties we throw?)
3. Sustainability (It's hard out there...)
4. Communications (You got your talking points?)
